The Pembrokeshire coastline near Abereiddy will see the only UK venue to hold the forthcoming Red Bull World Series Cliff Diving competition on September 7 - 8. This is the long awaited debut for Wales to hold this prestigious cliff diving event.
The event will take place in Pembrokeshire's Blue Lagoon, close to St David's, located within the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Competitors will be diving from a cliff height of 27 metres into the Irish Sea.
Blake Aldridge, the Olympian and two-time European Cliff Diving Champion, is expected to be competing in this leg of the series, so he is sure to be able to capitalise on the support from his home crowds. Diving will commence at 11.30am and end at 1.30pm.
More information and spectator tickets to the event are £5 and are available from the competition’s website.
If you are on holiday in south west Wales during this period and staying in one of our Pembrokeshire cottages, why not add this amazing diving event to your holiday itinerary.
