Reviews

Loved the quiet location.Wonderful beach minutes from character accommodation.

Mr B,

Cottage is exactly as it shows on the website and was the perfect spot for our stay. Location is excellent - just a couple of mins walk from the sea front even on the littlest of two year old legs. Lovely peaceful suntrap garden too. Great spot and we’ll come again.

Mrs F,

We had a very happy 2 weeks In Driftwood. The cottage had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed meals in the garden, weather permitting. We had friends to stay and the rest of the family staying in holiday cottages nearby. Little Haven is perfect for that. St Brides pub just down the road is our favourite. Their garden is excellent for 3 generational refreshments. Thanks

Mrs H,

We had a lovely fortnight in Driftwood Cottage. We chose it mainly for the enclosed garden for our dog, which was perfect and very tranquil. We enjoyed watching all the birds and the squirrel come to the feeder. The cottage is built on a hillside and has an interesting layout, with just a few steps between the 'top floor' (at road level) where there are 2 bedrooms, and the kitchen, lounge and third bedroom which are at garden level. Access is available from the front door at road level or via a steep path to the side door which takes you in by the kitchen. It might be tricky for anyone with a disability though. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and the shower was ok - the bath was great! Chairs and sofa were also comfortable and the TV was a decent size but TV reception was a bit flakey. Some of the roads leading to Little Haven are narrow (single track with passing places on some routes) so not for the nervous! We did lots of coastal path walking straight from the door though, so you don't need to drive much once you get here if you don't want to!
