Reviews

The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable week. Being a short walk to the beach and Saundersfoot was an advantage. Overall, a good base for a holiday in this area.

Mr L,

A lovely dwelling in a fantastic area . A superb view ( we had glorious weather) a 20 minute walk into Saundersfoot which is less busy than its neighbour tenby. So quiet . You could hear a pin drop. Watching squirrels running across the lawn and the gypsy ponies in the neighbouring field. Loved every minute of our stay

Mr H,

Lovely place good facilities nice hosts

Mr P,

Overall a very lovely bugalow. Amazing views. Good location to walk to Saundersfoot and Coppet Hall beach . Would love to stay again .

Ms G,

Spent a v enjoyable week with son, his partner and 10 yr old grandson. The large downstairs bedroom was perfect for me as I have mobility issues. Containing 2 v comfy big singles ( even the pillows were good- not always the case) and good sized walk-in shower in the ensuite. The lounge/diner floor to ceiling windows gives uninterrupted views to garden, fields and landscape beyond is v relaxing and gives a great sense of light and space. The upstairs bed and sep bath are enormous. The kitchen is tiny but appearances are deceptive as it is v well equipped and more than adequate for our needs. Just a mile walk( if you can ) is Coppet Hall beach. It's v clean with cafe and other amenities nearby but access is extremely inadeqaute - not just for disabled (wheelchair access is impossible) but families with pushchairs etc. This could and should be improved as once on the beach it is perfect for fun and games for all ages. I hadn't been to S'foot for some years but would love to come back soon and would certainly stay again at Stonecroft . Side note: A big thanks to the owner, Mr Frost who was v kind and accommodating, taking possession of and then retuning the wheelchair I hired for my stay

Ms C,

Very comfortable, and well equipped cottage. Helpful host, but not intrusive. Bit of a hike to the beach and town, but, with an energetic dog encouraging, us we made it a least once daily!

Mrs W,

Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped, a nice garden and terrace. The view is fantastic. Very friendly people!

Mr H,

Lovely stay at Stonecross, 20 mins walk to the beach, everything was well catered for and the host was very laid back and amenable, couldn't fault it...

Mr W,

Lovely setting can’t beat the views clean and tidy just a short way into Saundersfoot and very good host

Mr B,

Beautiful dog friendly, rustic cottage with spacious attic room and the most stunning views. Log burner for cosy evenings and a great garden. Location was perfect - 15-20 minute walk into Saundersfoot main square. I would definitely recommend. Sleeps four and great in any season!

Miss E,

Location

An ideal property with super countryside views and yet just a short car journey into Saundersfoot.  A small coastal village with grocery shops, Post Office (In Spar shop), butchers and a bakery.  There is a harbour and great sandy beaches one which accepts dogs on all year round, the main beach in Saundersfoot does have restrictions.

Tenby is just over 2 miles with super beaches, a lifeboat station, a museum and there is the Tudor Merchants House to have a look around.  The harbourside in Tenby is where you need to go to book boat and fishing trips.

There are lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy, Battlefield Live, Heatherton, Hangar 5 trampoline park, Folly Farm and Oakwood theme park.

There are over 50 beaches to discover in Pembrokeshire, there are small coves to vast expanses of sand. The coastal path is excellent with super scenery and coastal views.  The coastal path can be enjoyed both in the summer months and in the winter.

Book a Pembrokeshire great escape.
