Reviews

We had a lovely family weekend. The property was of a high spec. Everything required was available for our use. The touches of basic provisions, and Welsh cakes and shortbread and the use of extra towels for hot tub added to the speciality of this property.

Mrs W,

Lovely property very well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen, it was a great surprise to arrive and find a lovely welcoming home with a great little care package the hot tub was very nice and well maintained.

Mrs B,

The standard of the property was excellent 5 star you could not fault it in any way. We will certainly book again.

Mrs S,

Lovely cottage, great location and the owners had thought of everything you needed.

Ms A,

Good location and lovely bungalow. Owner input, meant a very personal touch to the cleanliness of the place. Only downside was bedrooms quite snug although bright and well equipped. Luckily we spent most of our time out or enjoying the garden facilities.

Mrs B,

The cottage was a delight to stay in! Well equipped and good location. We all loved the luxury of the hot tub too!

Mrs J,

Bungalow was a real home from home and perfect for our party of 6. Owners were friendly and helpful and even provided lots of welcome goodies. We loved the spotless hot tub, the clean and modern living area and the quiet location with lovely views. Kitchen equipment was amazing with everything you could think of.

Mrs A,

A fantastic, comfortable property in an amazing location. The hot tub was a great size and a real treat which got used lots! Some of the bedrooms are a little small as doubles but it was fine for us for a family of 6. The property has great access to lots of local amenities. We especially enjoyed walking to Wiseman's bridge and enjoying a meal at the pub. Colby Woodland is also a worth a visit! We had a great week away, despite the weather!

Mrs C,

A lovely cottage with great views. The hot tub was really good after a long walk everyday. The welcome back was very much appreciated

Mrs P,

Beautiful property it had everything we needed and more for our stay. I would highly recommend and also the location was stunningly beautiful

Mr S,

Location

Cilrhedyn is positioned in peaceful and tranquil surroundings, a short walk from the heart of Saundersfoot village with its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and pubs for a refreshing drink. The working harbour is where you can venture out on a daily fishing trip or a leisurely boat trip. An ideal base for a beach holiday. The beaches are sandy with ice cream kiosks and water sports.

Take a stroll through the old tunnels at Coppet Hall to eat out at  top restaurant Coast or continue on to Wisemans Bridge with a beachfront pub serving good food.

Enjoy a leisurely walk or bike ride along the Stepaside Heritage Park which is full of history and once used for the local railway.

If you enjoy historical sites and monuments then Pembrokeshire will not disappoint, visit Carew Castle with its very own Tidal Mill displaying how water was used through the ages, Manorbier Castle which was once controlled by the Earls of Pembroke and the mysteries of Pentre Ifan.

Pembrokeshire is a great destination for walkers with 186 miles of coastal footpaths.  Bosheston Lily ponds provides a lovely walk with an abundant supply of wildlife, keep your eyes peeled for an otter. This leads onto a delightful sandy beach at Broad Haven South which is also good for a spot of surfing.

Take a trip to Tenby which has lots of pretty coloured houses which line the harbour front. There is lots to see and do in Tenby with a museum which is small and informative, the Tudor Merchants House (NT) to visit and a horse and carriage to venture around the cobbled streets. Enjoy the many boat trips on offer, visiting Caldey Island home of the Cistercian monks, there are trips to Skomer Island to see the Puffins or leisurely boat trips around the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline.
