Reviews

Beautiful home in a prime location. Welcome pack and dressing of the house for Christmas was very Christmassy and appreciated. Extremely comfortable and well resourced with equipment, utensils etc.

Mrs T,

A really lovely property, well presented and had everything we needed. Fantastic location.

Mrs P,

A lovely, clean, comfortable cottage in a great location. Great facilities, everything you could want. Great garden. Steep stairs to the upper floors which start with a spiral section and require care. Overall excellent.

Mr C,

Appreciated your warm welcome to an excellent cottage. Loved the themed decor and quality furnishings and equipment. Thank for all the thoughtful touches. Our family of 7 from age 6 to 82 really enjoyed our week.

Mr S,

This property is ideally placed for Saundersfoot, everything is walkable - We had really good weather so were able to get onto all the beaches (Dog friendly by the Marine centre and to the left of the main slipway) the cottage has all of the facilities you would need, it took us a little while to get used to the 5 different colour bins for recycling but we got there. A word of warning if you have a larger vehicle the lane is very very tight you will have to squeeze against hedges to make it to the parking at the property at the bottom of the lane - so if you are planning on lots of day trips you might want to take this into consideration as is not something you would want to do too much - so much so that we caught the bus to Tenby rather than face the single track lane.

Mr P,

Woodbine Cottage is fantastically located and beautifully appointed. I couldn't think of anything that we could have possibly needed that wasn't supplied. The beach and harbour are virtually on the doorstep as are pubs, cafes and restaurants. We stayed just before the garden came into bloom; I would imagine it would be lovely to sit out there in the summer. We had an issue with the downstairs TV which was resolved immediately with a new replacement. Saundersfoot is a lovely town and well situated for local walks or a base to explore Pembrokeshire. We were a group of three and a small dog, it would easily suit a larger group as we didn't use two of the bedrooms and there is plenty enough crockery and cutlery etc. Would love to return some day.

Mr S,

The cottage is in a great location being situated only a few minutes walk from the sea. A very comfortable cottage overall, with spacious rooms and good water pressure. I would happily use this property again and can recommend it to anyone.

Mrs C,

Lovely cottage. Good space for 4 adults and 2 large dogs - didn't feel overcrowded. Great location for beach, shops and pubs. Pubs and cafes very dog friendly. Would come again.

Mr J,

Ideal property, close to all amenities, comfortable and well kept, highly recommend

Mr D,

Miss Liz B,

Location

Saundersfoot is located on the splendid southern coastline of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park which is recognised as one of Britain’s most spectacular landscapes with breath-taking views, wonderful coastal paths, sandy beaches, rocky coves and picturesque towns and villages.

Situated in the bustling resort of Saundersfoot, popular for walking, sailing, water sports, fishing and the traditional seaside holiday. Close to all the shops, numerous public houses and a good selection of restaurants and convenient for visiting Folly Farm, Oakwood, Heatherton, and the Dinosaur Park.

A seaside stay in this lovely part of Pembrokeshire is an obvious choice in the summer, but it can be just as attractive, in a different way, in the colder months. You have more beach to yourself, you can take your dog, and a winter beach makes for fabulous walking. Or, tucked up in the cosy warmth inside, you can watch the fluctuations of the sea from the comfort of the house.
