Description
Nestled away in a quiet village near the beginning of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, this welcoming 1-bedroom cottage is ideally located for discovering the countless golden beaches and bustling seaside villages along this stunning part of South Pembrokeshire's coastline. Well-equipped to provide a comfortable stay, Cherie's Place is complete with a bright and open kitchen/dining area, a cosy lounge with TV and selection of games/books as well as a lovely king size bedroom and modern tiled shower room with walk-in shower. A private and secluded patio area to rear of property overlooks surrounding fields and is ideal for sitting outside with a glass of wine on summer evenings.
Accessed via a 15 minutes woodland walk down from Cherie's Place, the small coastal village of Amroth marks the beginning of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Here you will find a lovely choice of local pubs, cafes and ice cream shops. The vast expanse of sandy beach is back by a large pebble bank to the west and dotted with picturesque wooden groynes to the east. Heading west from Amroth, along the clifftop coastal path, you'll pass by the popular seafront pub at Wiseman's Bridge (0.8mi) and venture through the echoing tunnels to Coppet Hall beach (1.7mi), eventually happening upon the charming village of Saundersfoot. Brimming with fantastic eateries and independent boutiques, Saundersfoot and its Blue Flag beach is certainly well worth the visit. Slightly further afield, the colourful walled town of Tenby, known for its 3 beautiful beaches and vibrant cobbled streets lined with shops and cafes is just a 15-minute drive away.
