Description

Perfectly positioned down a quiet cobbled street in the heart of Tenby's vibrant seaside town lies this luxuriously appointed period property, boasting high quality furnishings, elegant interiors and partial sea views from many of the rooms. Set over 5 floors of a charming Grade II listed townhouse, Chart House provides an abundance of space for friends and multi-generational families to unwind in style by the sea, whilst the clever layout still creates a cosy atmosphere for smaller parties and couples to hideaway. As well as the added luxury of underfloor heating, the ground floor provides a cosy, well-presented lounge with feature fireplace and a modern, fully-appointed kitchen that leads into a wonderfully spacious dining area. A beautifully appointed living room awaits you on the first floor, adorned with hand-picked artwork, an impressive fireplace and ample soft seating, while the top floor chill out room with its bean bag chairs, Smart TV and games console makes for the perfect children's den. The five lovingly decorated bedrooms, each designed with subtle coastal themes, are reminiscent of those found in boutique hotels, whilst still maintaining the traditional charm of the Victorian townhouse. Outside, a compact and colourful courtyard terrace offers a lovely private space for morning coffees and evening drinks.

‘Chart House is available for smaller groups in off-peak months and for short stays.  The perfect get away. You’ll enjoy all the fabulous facilities the house has to offer, with use of three of the five luxury bedrooms. Please click here for details.

No matter the weather, there's certainly no shortage of places to discover and activities to enjoy during your stay. Pack up a picnic and head down to the gloriously golden sands of Tenby South Beach, just a 2 minute walk from your front door, or venture over to the equally stunning beaches of Castle Beach and North Beach around the corner. Marvel at rows of colourful seafront houses - one of the most idyllic scenes in Pembrokeshire - before heading down to the quaint harbour, or walk along the seafront promenade or make your way up to the vibrant high street lined with a fantastic array of pubs, cafes and shops. There's also a popular amusement arcade, regular boat trips out to the holy Caldey Island (spotting local wildlife on the way) and a seafront golf course with breath-taking views. For walking enthusiasts, follow the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path around to the bustling village of Saundersfoot (4.5mi) with stunning panoramic sea views making for an incredible backdrop. Within a short drive of the property, you can also explore the impressive remains of Carew Castle, spot exotic wildlife at Manor Wildlife Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park or enjoy a wonderful family day out at Heatherton Worlds of Activities and nearby Dinosaur Park.

Reviews

High spec property in lovely location.

Mrs A,

The house was really homely, comfortable and well equipped for all our needs.

Mrs E,

‘What a wonderful week. We absolutely loved every aspect of this beautiful house. A cozy winter stay finished off with chilly sea dips, coastal walks and delicious food. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, the house is beautifully finished and is well equipped with everything you should need, down to the small finishing touches. Thanks to you, we have created some wonderful memories and been able to start our year in the best possible way.

Past Customer,

We have loved our stay at Chart House. It is in a great location, a short stroll to the magnificent beaches and the many amenities in this charming coastal town. Every aspect of the house has been beautifully curated with great care and maintained to the highest standard. We very much appreciated the many luxurious touches, the attention to detail and the fully equipped kitchen. Thank you so much for the welcome hamper and for your thoughtful follow-ups to ensure we were fully settled in. Access to long term parking arrangement made journeys very easy and our dog Otto loved curling up in his ‘corner’ of the kitchen/dining room after long walks. We leave with fond memories of a beautiful house in a lovely setting and hope to return some day. With our thanks and very best wishes.

Harkin Family,

‘Chart House is simply Exquisite! Beautiful town, beautiful countryside, beautiful weather and a gracious host. What a wonderful break!’
