Reviews

Vine Cottage is in an excellent position in Tenby, being a short walk to the town with its shops, restaurants and pubs and having close access to the beach. It's also a peaceful area meaning you should have a good night's sleep and the parking space outside is a bonus. A little care may be required manoeuvring in and out but we managed to get a large car in without too much ado. The downstairs is very modern and open plan and there are no doors between the kitchen, snug or living room. Upstairs, the bedrooms are clean and simple but would benefit from mirrors. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for showers with good pressure. We enjoyed our stay at Vine Cottage in beautiful Tenby - but don't let the cottagey appearance outside kid you as the inside is very different!

Prof R,

Absolutely beautiful home. Plenty of space for all the family. Brilliant location. Would thoroughly recommend this place to stay for a wonderful time and property.

Mrs S,

This is a beautifully renovated and well-equipped cottage in the heart of Tenby. We were a family group of seven spanning three generations and there was plenty of space and facilities for us all from a six-month old baby to grandparents. Would highly recommend it for other family groups.

Mr L,

Amazing property well situated . We had a wonderful holiday absolutely loved Tenby most certainly will go again.

Mrs F,

This is simply the most fabulous house - decorated and furnished to a high standard with everything you would need for your comfort and enjoyment. It is perfectly located right in the town and steps away from the fabulous beaches. We had a wonderful week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at Vine Cottage

Ms P,

A wonderful, tastefully renovated property. Fantastic location and very comfortable house spacious enough to accommodate three generations!

Mrs H,

The house was like a home from home. Exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. It is only a three minute walk on to the beautiful sandy beach. We parked our car and only used it once all week. I highly recommend this property.

Mrs B,

Fantastic location cliee to the beach and within the town walls. House is ideal for 2 families to share. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

Miss R,

3rd time at Vine Cottage, perfect position etc, had two grand kids this time, perfect for them.

Mrs S,

Great cottage in a perfect location near the centre of town, The whole of Tenby is just a short stroll away including the beautiful sandy beaches. There are lots of pubs and restaurants in Tenby and surrounding areas to cater for all tastes. The parking at the cottage is a real plus point. The cottage is really well equipped downstairs and is great for families or groups. Upstairs is decorated well but is quite basic - no mirrors in the bedrooms and no shaver points in the bathrooms. On the whole it is a lovely house - but it does have its limitations.

Mr J,

A gorgeous house in a wonderful location. The owners have renovated the property to a fabulous standard, whilst retaining lots of it's original character. A wonderful holiday and can't wait to come back again.

Mrs M,

Smashing house well equipped and very well presented.

Mrs C,

Previous Customer,

We had the best Christmas week in your gorgeous house! We enjoyed spending family time in the large communal spaces and cozy up whilst storm Gerrit raged outside. Watching the sea from the upstairs windows and living so close to it for a week. The house has been so beautifully made and is super comfortable to live in. We had everything we needed to spend a week winding down from everybody's stress, thank you!!

Location

Vine Cottage is located in the Victorian coastal town of Tenby and within its historic town walls.  Tenby has award winning beaches, a harbour where boat trips can be organised and a good supply of cafes and restaurants.

Caldey Island can be seen if you look out over the Paragon, a short distance from the property, you can take a boat trip (weather permitting) over to the island where Cistercian Monks still live today.  You will also see St Catherine's Island and two lifeboat stations, only one is in operation and you can go in and take a look around in the Summer months and maybe purchase a souvenir from the RNLI shop inside.

In Tenby town there is also The Tudor Merchants House, where you can see how the Tudor Merchant and his family lived and delve in a little history.

There is a good supply of adventure and wildlife parks -  Anna's Welsh Zoo, Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme park will all keep the children of all ages entertained.

If its a slower pace of life then take a stroll along part of the 186 miles of coastal footpaths, enjoying the views of the fabulous coastline and the abundant supply of wildlife.

Bosherston Lily Ponds are a good place to walk around, you may even spot the odd otter playing in the waters, these lead to a super beach  - Broad Haven, where a freshly prepared picnic could be enjoyed.

Pembrokeshire is a great county to explore and it definitely has something for everyone!
