Reviews

We stayed in the "Barn" vary nice and spacious and set in a fantastic location.

Mr R,

Quiet cottage, which has steps going into and in the cottage itself, which shouldn’t be a problem for able bodied people. Very peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. Under floor heating kept things warm and cosy, when thermostats were turned up, as directed in the information folder. We found everything comfortable and in good order. Will definitely consider booking again.

Mr D,

Great property and welcome pack. Poor heating, so take warm day and night clothes if the weather is not hot.

Mr B,

The location is perfect and the cottage was v comfortable. It was great to be able to speak to the owners direct with any queries. We had a wonderful few days.

Ms J,

A great location for walking the coastal path and several buses a day passing the property. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation.

Mr J,

Great location lovely cottage. Ideal for walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

Mrs M,

Great well equipped comfortable place to stay with loads of space for two, good quiet location, nice village pub nearby great coast path walking and friendly but non intrusive hosts Ian and Claire.

Mr W,

Lovely cottage in an area good for walking. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of space downstairs, there are a few floor level changes with deep steps. The bedroom is on the mezzanine and accessed by a spiral staircase which is open on to the bedroom. The bed was too soft for us and the shower arrangement is not good. The TV is apps only but is all logged in so you don’t need your own accounts. Outside there is a lovely grassy area. Nothing is fenced so you need to have the dog on a lead if it is a flight risk! Would recommend if the upstairs issues were addressed.

Mrs V,

Tastefully decorated & very spacious for 2. The recliners added some luxury & comfort for watching the tv in the evening. The field outside was ideal for the dog to run around in. We hope to visit again.

Mr S,

Outstanding little cottage, super clean. Lovely welcome package from owners. We booked a charging point for our electric car ( on site) which was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Mr P,

The cottage was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. In early spring it was nice and warm too!

Mr T,

Excellent location for walkers and families in the summer but requires comprehensive refurbishment in order to provide the level of comfort and convenience expected by a holidaymaker.

Mr H,

We found The Barn a delight, especially being so near the Coast Path and only about 15 minutes walk from the Pub. It is really spacious, warm and dry with the underfloor heating, and well kitted out. Out in the field at the front you get a fabulous night sky, and even the sweep of Strumble Head light. A lovely place for a restorative holiday on the coast.

Mr H,

Beautiful stay! Amazing location by the sea! I thought the little welcome package was a lovely touch. So happy you guys were dog friendly also! Thank you again!

Ms J,

Lovely, cosy, converted barn in West Wales. Great local walks, from the doorstep, along the coastal path, with stunning views. The property is well equipped with kitchen utensils, clean and inviting. Hosts were brilliant, contacting us prior to arrival to check requirements for travel cot & high chair (available for infants); providing a 'welcome pack of treats and information, and also checking and fixing the boiler immediately, when we unfortunately lost hot water. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and exploring Pembrokeshire. Thank you

Mr R,

Location

Trefin is situated about half way between St David’s and Fishguard on the north Pembrokeshire Coast. This small village is steeped in history and is well positioned for visiting the stunning beauty of the coastline here. Some 500 yards inland of some spectacular cliffs and coves, Trefin is most famous for its old mill. Due to the villages location off of the main St David’s to Fishguard road the village is a quiet peaceful place – ideal for all wishing to get away from the more touristy villages such as Porthgain which is just a short drive away.
